DOCO has been a part of the Ava, Missouri community since 1978.  Our mission is to provide a safe and positive atmosphere for employees with disabilities to reach their full potential, regardless of their physical or mental limitations.  Our employees manufacture products that are shipped and utilized worldwide and provide services that are an integral part of our local community. Our motto is to "Lead with Kindness" and we strive to live that everyday.

We are much more than their employer!

Whether you are a caregiver, parent or group home administrator, DOCO, Inc. Sheltered Workshop provides a safe and supportive work environment for people with disabilities. They are trained for their job, have proper supervision throughout their workday, earn money, and we even provide transportation to and from work.
  • For the parent, this can be needed respite and it builds the self-esteem of your son or daughter.
  • For the professional caregiver, having dignified and meaningful work for your client in a real non-profit business can enrich their life and help them grow as a person.
